In order for London 2012 to be able to put on the greatest show on earth, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) need to increase their workforce from 1000 paid staff currently to a workforce of c. 200,000 at Games time. This will be made up of 100,000 contractor staff, 70,000 volunteers and another c. 1000 permanent paid staff and 3000 – 4000 temporary paid staff.
In order to facilitate this Podium are running a student and graduate information event on 18 November in London. The event will feature a number of hour-long sessions covering the various sectors looking to recruit for the games.
These are:
9.30 Customer service / front of house roles
10.30 Customer service / front of house roles
11.30 Team Leader roles (for those that have some management or team leader experience)
12.30 Administration roles
2.30 Coordinator roles
3.30 Coordinator roles
