Raleigh Bursary Award – Sussex University Graduate’s Experience

November 4, 2011 by

You may have read our blog post back in July about the Raleigh Bursary Award. Well, they are once again offering 17-24 year olds the chance to take part in a life-changing expedition to Borneo, India or Costa Rica & Nicaragua. The expeditions are a challenging, but extremely rewarding combination of community, environmental and adventure projects.

They have sent 22 Sussex University students away on Raleigh expeditions over  the past two years, and would love to continue this relationship by offering bursary awards to students of Sussex University. One Sussex University graduate who has recently taken part in the Raleigh Bursary Award is 2009 Sussex Graduate Zoe Luff. Zoe has kindly put together a case study of how she came to apply for this opportunity and the things she has experienced whilst taking part. To read Zoe’s story, please read her Case Study.
