Get Teaching Experience with a Taster Course

Spend time observing teaching in Blatchington Mill School from Monday 5th December to Thursday 8th December on a taster course organised by the University’s Department of Education.  Hear from experienced and recently qualified teachers and find out about developments in education policy and practice.

The course costs £75 but will offer you invaluable experience and insight into secondary teaching.  The course comprises of two taught days and two observation days.  Places are strictly limited and priority will be given to shortage subjects (Maths, Science and Modern Foreign Languages), although there are also some places for English, History, Geography, Media, Drama, Music and ICT.

Those who have successfully completed the course will be offered personal guidance on how to secure an interview for a place on a secondary or 7-14 PGCE or a GTP programme at the University of Sussex.
